I like this, but I'm soo sooo sorry to say this, the years have not been good on Phil. sad face---I had a huge crush on him, now he has saggy jowels, but the voice is still GREAT! better than I have heard a lot of the guys from back in the day, who will I daydream about now??? joking people, just joking.

Use it wisely!btw, I really love this requiem tribute song. The Video sends goose bumps up my spine. Death itself? On the other side is actually as vibrant as all the colors of the rainbow. I'm surprised they released the singles and did videos for You Better Not Love Me and Arana Negra... IMO two of the weakest tracks off the album. I would have much rather seen a video for Queenie, Hollywood Forever or Vine Street personally.

Back to the video, I love this song! It's dark, yet beautiful. Bassist Scotty Griffin wrote this one if memory serves me (feel free to correct me if that's not the case). I love Phil's double harmony and the 12 string guitar part. And from what I've heard, it's not an easy song to play either. As for the video itself, it's a little...odd. lol It might take me a little longer to get used to this one, but it's certainly fascinating in spite of the creepy slit throat part. :)

Phil still sounds great in the studio and live in concert! He can still sing his ass off and puts on a hell of a show! And he is easily one of the nicest guys I've ever had the pleasure of speaking to! He is always willing to answer questions about the band and is just friendly in general. As for Hollywood, he's lived in that area for half of his life and became an American citizen some years ago so obviously it matters to him quite a bit!
