I have never been a big fan of this genre of music, but I can come to respect a good band when I hear one. Absolute respect for their music, really these guys are great.

The desperation in his voice is as perfect as him. La Dispute will forever be the best!

I have half a mind to make you hurt, to make you bleed, to make you suffer.

Just say La Dispute at the pyramid scheme this past sunday and they played this song and it was so fucking good. he explained how songs can mean one thing at one point in time but then can change into something completely different with a whole new meaning and understanding. I think im in love with Jordan. <3

I guess love's a funny thing, the way it fades away without a warning. It doesn't ask to be excused. And when it's gone oh, it's gone. && it ain't ever comin back.

Hot Cross, Mewithoutyou are the most similar, victor fix the sun, defeater, frameworks are amazing, Kerouac are an English group, Pianos become the teeth are too good! Planes mistaken for stars are like pianos biggest influence. sooo many good bands with the same kind of values. The various overlapping bands like....merchant ships, midwestpenpals, William Bonney. Grappler are sweet as fuck. Lizards have personalities...The list goes on and on...Listener are amazing.

I guess love's a funny thing The way it fades away without a warning It doesn't ask to be excused And when it's gone, oh it's gone It ain't ever coming back There is nothing you can do to save it To make it breathe the way it did

I really hope that La Dispute leads more bands into this kind of rock... It's just such an amazing way to make music because rather than just saying the words in a sense he is expressing the emotion needed for them so it magnifies the epicness of this band.

The Chariot reminds me of La Dispute in a lot of ways.
