The hidden track from the album "...And the Circus Leaves Town" (1995)

Lyrics-

Don't be sad for what will never be

Be glad you didn't have to see

This time became a part of me

And now this burning memory

The sun will break the night till dawn

And then we'll tell some tales again

And when the time has come and gone

The wind will carry on and on (2x)

Thank you Scott Reeder, for acknowledging one of the greatest artists of the last 20 years by honoring him with such a masterpiece.

Everyone saying it sounds like Nirvana: it was dedicated to Dave Grohl and Krist Novoselic after Kurt's death, so that's probs why. Beautiful song, a uniting of two of my favourite bands

It was dedicated to Dave Grohl and Krist Novoselic after Kurt Cobains death so it's possible that it was written to sound Nirvana-esque

So immense... the last track of their last album*- what a way to go with a bang! I feel a sense of melancholy, like a chapter of life has just closed. The music complements the lyrics so well. *Not counting the Kyuss/Queens of the Stone Age split.

I'm thinkin' in a deep travel to the bottom f my soul or mind, like reaching the NIRVANA...

If I'm not mistaken, this is the only Kyuss song written by Scott Reeder. It shows, easily one of my favorite Kyuss songs.

@peacelovemusic2461 The song is actually very Kurt-like, I've heard tons of Nirvana demos and they sound similar to this. Slow power-chords, a tender melody whined out, with some backing vocals close-behind.

@iSabotage I find it little info online and much of it in blogs I would like to read something more reliable than wikipedias small Kyuss page

@iSabotage you are right I was just stupidly trying to find some reason to justify something, cause i dont believe that this was realllllllllly dedicated to Dave & Chris

@QOTSAPT I don't think either of them give a shit whos name is first. That's a little childish.
