@7039TS You're propably right about Parlophone, it's strange though, she should have more control over her releases. Having said that Aphrodite was far from being a failure! It got to N°1 in several countries and was in Top 5 album charts pretty much everywhere in the world except USA of course...(she got a N°1 in the Dance Billboard charts with "Get out of my way" I think)

Tennant&Low said they never heard from Kylie or her team after submitting the track!!!" and Mylo was pissed off and still is. Like a drug" almost didn't make it, it was rejected first then accepted. There was obviously a pair of ears missing somewhere, Someone at EMI Parlophone should have been fired!!! You would thing that after more than 2O years in the business she can decide what goes and what doesn't!

Apparently she had song writtten and submitted for "X" from from Hot Chip, Sound System, Goldfrapp, Pet Shop Boys, Boy George&Amanda Ghost, Rob Davis, Mylo to name only a few! None of the songs written by these guys ended up on the album!!.
