Everyone that is commenting about the KJV does realize that the KJV that we have today is not the same KJV they had in 1611 right? That translation has been edited and updated so much that the number of changes done to it is up in the thousands I believe. Don't quote me on that though. It's been awhile since I've seen the actual number of edits that have been done to it since it's original publishing. You also know that today that there are actually two different versions of the KJV out there because two different publishing companies has the publishing rights, right? I have nothing against the KJV but to say that it should be the one translation that everyone follows is just ridiculous because of the stuff that I have mentioned above. I would advise any KJV Only person to read more into Bible translation, from people who are actually outside the KJV only camp, and the history of the KJV translation.

How do you know the bible is perfect . I'm a Christian myself . But it is literally impossible to prove which doctoring is correct . Therefore, you're mentally retarded. Humans put all of these books together themselves in the way they thought was right . A lot of them make sense and a lot of historical events proven . But KJV isn't the first Protestant translation . Many books have been taken out (most make sense to be removed , others are innocent). You shouldn't be publicly speaking on topics you don't understand yourself .

There is so much to scripture and God than you are realizing;but go to the part of the bible where it talks about edification unto the Lord our God. the book of 1 Corinthians chapter 24:6 i believe;but don't quote me on that;going of memory. anyhow you answers are in there. KJV is the holy bible and god's holy will and word. I too used to read the NIV;but God sent a dear brother in Christ to challenge me on this;that i could read and understand thhe KJV of the bible;if i prayed for his wisdom;and believed in it. My friend and the Lord was right. It's so clear to me now. But we are a work in progress though.
