First song on my heart waking up this morning, I remember feeling Jesus was saying this to me back in high school when Jon was singing, now I realize I must have felt that so strongly (even though I had prayed to receive Jesus earlier I think at 13 but didn't understand Lordship of Christ, relationship, and the kingdom of God really though) because Jesus was calling out to my best friend too, it makes sense why Jesus has been showing up strongly for me definitely since I was putting prayer requests in. I remember a prophetic word that my high school principal Brenda gave me in I think middle school--Michelle, my Michelle, how easy it is to love you for you are a follower of me, I am working in you the grace of love, don't fight My hand, believe in Love not fear, fear is painful, know it, Love is a balm, a Healer for your heart, make the effort to put forth Love, I'll meet you there. He is meeting with me so much now, because so many believers have shown me Christ's love, I didn't want to be crazy anymore so in desperation for feeling better, I decided to ignore Jesus, less and less. I really feel right now that those prayers for me were meant for the best spiritual friend in my life now also, that really makes the most sense. Thank You Jesus, I can't thank You enough. All right, I need to listen to Toby and enjoy this beautiful weather!!! Lord please show the way to bring understanding of You and healing to the most hearts crying out as possible!!!

I love this song. Kutless used to be my favorite band. They don't rock any more though, they went soft. No, I am not talking about their lyrics, I am sure their lyrics and the meanings behind their songs are still that which would be expected of Christian singers. But they are no longer rock and roll. They are something softer. I really miss the old Kutless. Their music really got me through a horrible, painful spot in my life. I love listening to their old music. If they would play harder rock again maybe they would still be on the radio. I'm not bitter, I just miss their music. They have so much talent, have made such great music, and Jon Micah has a voice like an angel. Come on, guys, kick it up a couple notches on the next album.

Like it or not, there are absolutes. You are either a Christian or you are not. Either Christ is the Lord of all or He is not Lord at all. The biggest lie out there today is that you can have a degree of spirituality and call yourself a Christian. To be a disciple of Jesus Christ, you are either all in or you are out. There is no "gray" area in Christianity. It is not up to your interpretation and it is not about you. It is sacrifice and unswerving obedience and listening to God. It is not on your own terms. It is on HIS terms. The word of God is very specific. Jesus Christ is the only way and the only door. There is no back door to serving God. If you call Him Lord and Savior, then that is what He is. He saved you by His grace and you are to listen and obey Him and put "self" in the ground and bury the flesh and put on Christ. That is what a disciple and a follower of Jesus Christ does. How you "feel" is irrelevant. It is total surrender and putting on Christ and living a holy life that pleases Him. Many people cannot handle that concept today. They want to believe that there are exceptions to following Christ. They make God in their own image. That is having a form of godliness but denying the power. Timothy said it would happen and it is happening today. It is not my job to "judge" which is a word people hide behind so much today. The Holy Spirit convicts of sin. There is sin and that is why Christ came to save us. The standards in God's word apply to all of us. It does not change because we are a different generation who sees things from another perspective. You can say it does not apply to you all you want but that does not make God's word less true. A sifting is happening and the weeds will be separated from the wheat. Choose to be pure wheat. Not a mutation or a hybrid, but pure wheat.

confound this new youtube format! okay. growls idk how to reply to somebodys post but shieldmaiden what you said about listening to secular music is so true! i listn to a lot of quote un quote unchristian music. but we arent religous jesus wasnt religous. people who say its wrong to listen to non christian music are like the pharisees its the whole religous spirit thing. but anyway yeah i just wanted to say that seeing your post made me happy to know other people agree so thx.

People run from God because they wanna hear what's right with their soul and not enough of what's wrong with their souls. I sued to be one of them;but i stopped running and accepted that i wasn't perfect;and i was a sinner and needed Jesus Christ in ordered to be saved and reserve my place up in heaven. It's never a believer's job to make a believer a believer;it's God the Father's job to reach them and save their souls through Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior. Take care everyone.

Also, no I didn't run and hide in a dark hell to get away! I didn't stay there cause I wanted to either. I have been through a living hell and no I'm not going into details. Only God and music got me through it. I originally posted to give another person support and suggestion to help someone else lost in a dark world. I at first didn't bring up anything about one of my favorite rock entertainers. I am a stoic Christian and love Jesus as my Lord and Savior. Please put down your pointing finger.

Did you read what I said in either of my posts? Just because I love Heavy Metal and I'm a fan of MM and have been for many years, doesn't mean I don't know Jesus or God. You are doing exactly what those people did that once did chase me away from God! I am not hiding in a dark hell! I have a personal relationship with my savior that has nothing to do with any other man or denomination. He saved me through the darkest moments of my life. I can't reach the people I am with the message you gave me.

ShieldMaiden. Somebody put you in that dark hell. You ran away from what you saw and you hid in the dark hell to get away. I'm going to guess that it was somebody masquerading as a Christian who hurt you. You hide in a dark hell because you believe nobody or Christian can ever reach you there. I'm sorry that they failed you. People never realize the damage that they do. You need to stop the bleeding. Only Jesus Christ can do that. Not a religion, not a church. Jesus Christ and Him alone.
