I know, who actually knows this came from King Crimson? haha.. I happen to love both King Crimson and Kurt Elling... I was listening to Discipline album from King Crimson and I was like wait... I've heard this song! Lo and behold... Two different awesome renditions.

I have seen kurt perform many times @ Birdland" in Manhattan, the Green Mill in Chicago, as well as in Holland, France, Germany, & other jazz festivals abroad. I have all his cd's & find him to be one of the best jazz vocalists around these days. His fine interpretations of jazz classics are stellar. Once in 2004, after a late set in NY, I spoke w/him re: some collaborative work, using some of my own prose & lyrics. We have no plans so far but he seems very interested in that possibility!
