There's a difference between a "player" and a "writer" Kurt kept it simple on purpose and goofed off half the time playing guitar because he wasn't into music for the machine gun solos, and anyone who says "I can play that song with a blindfold on, it's easy and that band sucks" is incredibly ignorant of the fact that there was also a brilliant vocal melody and interesting lyrics in those songs too :Pps. there are a lot of guitarist that can shred but not a lot that can write simple guitar riffs like the ones to "Lithium" or "Heart Shaped Box"9 years ago
