Beautiful cover of Hank Williams' song...
Kris was only about eleven when he fell in love with Hank Williams' music, feeling like a total weirdo because of that, and he did his best to get all these 78s of him ....
Hank Williams' direct and mournful expression of raw human emotions and the very heart and soul of country music came to be an important influence on Kris' own music.
He has said one of the first complete songs he ever wrote, around 1947, was a Hank Williams rip-off called "I hate your ugly face"...
You win again
Hank Williams (1952)
The news is out all over town
That you've been seen out running around
I know that I should leave but then
I just can't go, you win again
This heart of mine could never see
what everybody knows but me
Just trusting you was my great sin
What can I do? You win again
Yes, this heart of mine could never see
what everybody knows but me
Just trusting you was my great sin
What can I do? You win again
YOU WIN AGAIN
Recorded by Hank Williams, Sr.
Words and music by Hank Williams, Sr.

[E] The [B7] news is [E] out - all over [A] town

2nd Verse:
I'm sorry for - your victim now
'Cause soon his head - like mine will bow
He'll give his heart - but all in vain
And someday say - YOU WIN AGAIN.
2nd Bridge:
You have no heart - you have no shame
You take true love - and give the blame
I guess that I - should not complain
I love you still - YOU WIN AGAIN.
