God is not bound by our world. He will speak to us through whatever channels we choose. Hip hop, rock, poetry, math, whatever. He will speak to us through art, science, etc. We have only to listen and see.(ears to hear and eyes to see.)

I`ve read a lot of the postings on this site. We all wan`t  GOD to be real.He is,but only if you have faith. Faith is a gift from GOD. If you believe that he sent his only son to die for your sins, then you are saved. All sacrifices afterword are an assault on our creator. He has already made the supreme sacrifice.

Jesus wants to be  the eternal tormentor of mostly decent people who won't find salvation because they are skeptical that he is god due to man’s reasoning, logic, knowledge of science    as at best only a little more than 1/3 of the world actually believes in him now as the Son and have a chance for this made-up heaven stuff. Those who don't will have everlasting torture. Jesus and religion is a shakedown .. I got the matches and your are flammable.  Slaves obey your masters! Mother what have I to do with thee (the good Son shows his Christian family values and support of family after not seeing mom for 20 years).  Most of Jesus’ teachings make common and good sense but his eternal damnation is a gargantuan flaw in Jesus’ character.  A good argument could be made that Jesus is maybe the worst person to ever live if you believe the Bible (who doesn't? it's so moral and profound). Forget the thousands of inaccuracies and bad dogma in the old testament . Just know that Jesus said 2 times more or less and once very explicitly that those who do not believe in him as the Son will have everlasting hell.  The worst terrorists never took torture within a gazillionth of that gory galaxy.  Thinking people of today know that the major determinants of mankind is evolution, genetics, environmental forces that limit free will or the ability any of us have to believe or not.  A close reading of the Old Testament is filled with horrendous lessons on how to treat people. A god that kills almost everyone on Earth in a flood: that’s pretty crazy. A god that commands Joshua to murder all the women and children except for the young girls, who can be taken as sex slaves: That’s horrible. A god that condemns anyone who eats shellfish: what is that all about? And of course. The 10 commandments tell you that working on Saturday or saying god’s name without a good reason makes you a bad person in the eyes of god. God eventually goes into great detail about how to deal with cattle thieves, isolating women on their period, and which fabrics to wear at the same time; but nowhere in those ten commandments, or in the six hundred and three that come after it, does it say “Don’t abuse children,” or “Don’t enslave people,” or “Don’t rape.”The Bible was written by human beings at a time when stealing a person’s livestock was a crime punishable by death, but raping a young girl was easily remedied by following it up with a marriage proposal. If the girl married someone other than her rapist however, and was found to not be a virgin, she would be executed. There is nothing remotely moral about any of this. The Abrahamic tribes who wrote the Old Testament simply came up with a set of laws that favored those already in power, and then claimed those laws were dictated by god and that questioning them was punishable by death. In the New Testament, you can pick and choose to find verses that sound nice, but who gets to decide which verses teach the moral lessons? When Paul says that a master should treat his slave well, why didn’t he just condemn slavery? Surely the “golden rule” would require that. When Paul says, “A woman should be quiet in church and not speak. She should learn from her husband.” is that a good moral model? When Jesus says, “If you don’t love me more than your own family, you don’t deserve heaven.” Is that the kind of god you want? Most non-believers have or assume an objective morality born of evolution but they just don't think adulterers should be killed (from the bible) or think slavery is good or think children who misbehave should be stoned and killed by their parents.  All the so-called morality in the bible might have been written by men, even if there was a god. To assume the bible is god's final word or word at all is preposterous unless of course you have been indoctrinated from a young age to believe that.
