I have always liked Kris's voice...but saw him last year in concert and the funky little finger roll on guitar got old real fast, as he played alone even I had to ask why he could not do some strumming and few extra notes on the guitar once in awhile.

I find Manfred Mann's version is not "pretentious noise" and that this old fart campfire version almost makes me snooze. I'm tapping my feet to the only catchy version as I type this, you know which one I'm talking about ;)

I love this cool, laid-back, unpretentious version of the Bob Dylan song sung by Kris Kristopherson. Kristopherson lets the song sing itself. Much more meaningful than other versions, which sound like noise next to this easy-going rendition.

When I was going to University I shared a residence with an Inuit student. One after dinner in cafeteria, I went up for another coffee (which was a routine to sit around after meal and discuss our idealistic views on how Aboriginal Politics) and as I returned to our table, my friend Ed began singing Cat Steven's "I wanna live in a Wigwam"...by no means was he offended but it was just those things made us laugh!!
