I really love this song and the movie and I love Kris as Billy the Kid ... (Pat Garrett and Billy the Kid, 1973)

Kris was nominated for the BAFTA (British Academy Film Awards) Award for Best Newcomer for his acting.

Sorry, Bob, the soundtrack to the movie is one of the greatest ever to me,

but this song always reminds me of Kris' Billy the Kid...

(btw, that stuntman broke his foot by falling off that bucking horse ...)

El Coyote is a song from Kris' album "Repossessed" (1986)

It's on the CD "Kris Kristofferson The Country Collection" (1998) which contains both albums "Repossesed" and "Third World Warrior" (1990)

Both albums are just awesome.
