After the Attack was released as a single in 1986.

[M: Petrozza; L: Reil]

Fire's coming down

Hot winds blow the smoke away

Low screams of the survivers

The innocent have paid

Nobody knows what's happened

Light was all they've seen

People walk through the

Destruction of the enemy

Molten bodies become more and more

No chance to be saved

Helpless childreen seek for their parents

But they're into the grave

[Chorus]:

After the attack

Empty souls tormented brains

After the attack

Deformed mutants psychical confusion

After the attack

Nuclear winter in the land

After the attack

Will this ever end

Everywhere starts the search

For water and groceries

Hate rules the land

You get nothing if you please

Fear is controlling all actions kill to survive

The scarlet sky is the witness

Of all as the mutants arrive

Between ruins rotting corpses lie

The smell of burning bones

All hope is in vain

As death is creeping through the stones

[Lead: Petrozza]

[Repeat chorus]

The only way out without pain

Is quickly suicide

All live in hell and fear, it's your fate

It's better to die!

[Lead: Trzebiatowski]

After the attack

Empty souls tormented brains

After the attack

Deformed mutants psychical confusion

After the attack

Nuclear winter in the land

After the attack

This will never end

This was originally released on the picture disc version of "Pleasure To Kill" as an added track at end of side 1. It was released by Noise International ltd to maybe 2,000 copies. It was sold on the "Terrible Certainty" tour. Lucky to have one! :)

Coming back to the song and it seems the only upload here. This was the first Kreator song I heard on the referenced The Metal Shop, I'd like to hear from others who heard similar radio in the 1980s

I have the 1st "Doomsday News" cd comp with this track on it as well! Those comps (there are 3 total comps.#3 is a live comp.) are all time CLASSICS! So many killer bands on those.

I was just pulling up Cinderella's song Hell On Wheels from their debut album, if you start with that song and go right into this one, it segues better then butter on bread, That's what I remember really well, songs that just happened that way due to how they were played on the radio the first time

I'm sure it had wider distribution since I heard it as part of a metal show in the Midwest, Minnesota, and I would say at least as early as 1988, but could be earlier

In America, late 1980s, this was the first song I ever heard of Kreator, and quickly sought them out, however, never found this track, it was THAT rare I suppose. So much thanx for putting it up and keeping it up! I heard these great tracks on FM metal radio called The Metal Shop!

I have that compilation, and it's the best I've ever seen out of piles of metal comp. CD's I've owned. It's got a couple gems that weren't released anywhere else.

I remember back in like 87 this track was only available on the "Sounds" compilation. It was a bitch to find, and I had recorded the track off ZRock radio AM, and it sounded crappy! LOL This is truely one of Kreator's best tunes.
