Last time I heard a quasar is a supernova being swallowed by a black hole but you can always correct me if I'm wrong. I am NOT the astrophysicist that I would love to be.

This song and Dominic Frontiere's Outer Limits closing music strikes the same limbic complex in my head.

When I first heard this one I thought WTF? but now I think it's funny that it's not radio friendly at all despite the title :-) Anyway, if I'm not wrong this is the only Kraftwerk song where Florian Schneider sings/talks solo

Some of the names in Kraftwerk’s Radio-Activity feature a word play, Radioactivity (meaning both nuclear power and the activity of radio), Omm Sweet Omm (sounding like “home sweet home”) and Radio Stars (like pop stars on radio, but in reality the song is about the real stars in outer space).Aus des Weltalls Ferne (From the deeps of space)Funken Radiosterne (Radio stars are transmitting)Pulsare und Quasare (Pulsars and quasars)Pulsar is a rapidly spinning neutron star (a collapsed star), which beams light and radio waves or X-rays from it’s magnetic poles. The light from Earth can only be seen when rays are thrown at us directly, thus like a lighthouse it appears to pulsate.Quasar is a star-like object, who’s light is equivalent to two trillion suns. It surrounds a supermassive black hole, moves away from our galaxy at an amazing speed and emits radio waves and radiation.
