OK. My take. I believe that the last part of the song(solo) was left off due to time considerations from fools running music award shows who don't know music. Could this guitar player have pulled it off? I think so. It is a wonderful solo and I love it. But just because they did not do it does not mean they could not. I bet they were given a time limit. But I really want to know the truth so I welcome any comments.

Guitarist is garbage. Couldn't even do what the average Metallica fanboy could (Kirk's fast solo). The rest is fine, though. Liked the vocals. They were pretty well-suited for the eerie atmosphere of a broken human soul that this song is about.

It's hard to do their solos, because they have one of the best guitarists of all time in Kirk. I can only imagine who they are going to have to get to do Danny Carey's drumming when Tool are up for the ballot in '17.
