They made it known to people that didnt actually listen to the music or the band. Or at least from where I live. It is not an opinion that I know a lot of people who have heard of slipknots jumpdafuckup yet barely ever heard the name "Korn" - Now yes those people do live under a rock cause Korn are massive and have been for a very long time (not to mention they influenced Slipknot a lot). But it doesnt change the fact that most hear about jumpthefuckup through Slipknot.

I believe Korn actually started with it before slipknot. That said though I think Slipknot have become the ones that made it really "big". All I know is know a lot of people who don't even like Slipknot that knows about jumpdafuckup but I had no idea Korn did it before this video :P
