I connected the studio back up today after all the holidays.. Since I moved all my gear into a new location just before christmas I have not really been able to play anything properly until today. So after all was hooked up I started fiddling with the volca keys and this melody started speaking to me...

Not my normal type of tune, but I felt this needed sharing. Play it loud, alone and in the dark

The only synth used is the KORG Volca Keys, nothing more nothing less, For FX I used the Jomox T-resonator on reverb setting + the KORG kaoss pad which is sort of building the rhythm with a motion recorded Grain delay.

Peace!

Sounds beautiful. I hear "Bella Lugosi's Dead" in there too.

The V Keys and the T-res is an epic combo. If you're game, my most recent vid features the same.I was blown away at the depth of sound those two can produce together.

Dude, Korg needs to give you some money. I've been looking for an cheap analog synth that's small that can do some nice pads. There maybe more out there but no one seems to demo then creating pads and here you are doing exactly what I need with a $150 dollar Volca Keys. Sold!!

Cool track, I'm using my Volca keys thru a master keyboard, so now the Volca is like a modular synth for me. And for the price, well worth getting..... Olli, Korg should pay you royalties.. lol

The many "YouTube videos of Volca Keys being played through KP2/3 always hypnotize me which invariably dissipates into massive Kaoss Pad lust (daydreaming about me and KP performing across the world). Now aquring BOSS SP-303 sampler for an arranged marriage with volcA keys and buying other essential gear so budget is super limited. I want to sample Volca playback to SP pads + & parts to achieve 1) multi-timbral and mutlti-bar patterns w add'l variation from 2) transposing pitch of recorded samples. The DSP FX on Boss sampler are real interesting (Madlib uses them like its his job) but they are the crunchiest/bright&thin of any FX I know from 16-bit era. So finally I ask - Any cheap & mobile ways to get close to the mega-lushness like this video? Maybe an iOS app / real old pro DSP delay or guitar pedal? Is your KP2 patch just delay or two distinct FX mixed/cross-modulating? Thx.
