They went from great Funk tunes like Spirit of the Boogie, Jungle Boogie, Open Sesame and Hollywood Swinging etc to Pop/Disco like Ladies Night and Cherish etc. Personally I prefer the funk but each to their own. I do know the clubbing was so much fun then... and to go onto the dance floor you had to be able to dance! I don't mean Saturday Night Fever style either... No way! Yes the 70's were a great time for music and for films and many other things... Excluding fashion of course because there was polyester and acrylic overload at the time lol
