So you make one?

I understand this, but it's still always just something I'll dislike. It's just the way I feel. I already knew both DJ Okawari and Nomak as well.

To be fair, a big part of hip-hop (or in this case, I believe it's classified as jazz-hop) is the art of sampling. You don't see Common, for example, naming in the track title what song he sampled from, do you? It's just how it goes. I see what you mean, though. Also, the whole repetitive thing is a valid point, however, that's also another facet of the hip-hop genre. For similar artists, look at DJ Okawari and Nomak, they both share similar strong structures. It's a love/hate genre IMO.

And that kind of bothers me, too. I don't really liked remixes songs that much, I usually like original songs. They're still kinda nice, but that "not original" thing just tends to sting me a little. I wish it didn't, but it just happens.

Nujabes often sampled other music from songs and most of them sound the same.

2 things that bother me for Kondor's music is that: 1) it's repetitive (repeating sometimes is ok, but this is the entire song) and 2) they sample from many other songs and give them their own names rather than saying "[originalsongname] remix". It's missleading as to thinking it's entirely its own song. They have at least 3 Ghibli film song remixes and at least 2 Hisaishi film remixes (this one too). I really do like some of their songs though! For instance "Let Me Think", one of my faves.

It probably is, they sample quite a few songs, like from Studio Ghibli films, and at least one other Hisaishi one.

yes you're right man. i also like kondor's music, i even have 3 of his albums at home. however, i noticed that his music is kinda repetitive and hes also using lots of samples from very known songs with almost no alterations, mostly just adding loops in it. but still, i dont care so much of that and i just enjoy his music, cuz its brilliant in its own way.
