Ashley was great, but that little song wasn't enough to showcase her voice. Another song would have been better. Tessanne was such an incredible performer/singer she really killed it.8 years ago

I might be the only person on these comments that will disagree with this decision. I'm not a fan of Tessanne I am sorry. Her notes just don't do it for me. Yes her control of her voice is wonderful, but the range of notes I look for personally comes from soul singers such as Ashley Dubose. I personally feel like Ashley slayed all of her notes like Buffy slaying Vampires. Tessanne bores me and will never live up to the hype in my eyes. Now I could see the hype that was happening over Sissaundra Lewis, because mama was tearing that stage apart. If you put an experienced soul singer such as Sissuandra up against Tessanne, you will see the differences in the passion in the voice. Tessanne voice seems a little too trained and not gifted.9 years ago
