The artists listed did not ALL play on this number. They all worked on this project, the album "Encores, Legends & Paradox," etc. Anyway, the artists performing on this particular number are: Robert Berry, bass; Simon Phillips, drums; Glenn Hughes, vocals; Marc Bonilla, guitar; and Erik Norlander, keyboards. ( and, it sounds great!).

@azmarkus I'd have to agree with you. The bass guitar in this song is to me the most recognizable aspect and what makes the song so unique. That was the great thing about Lake -- his vocals and his epic bass guitar lines. I grew up listening to my dad's ELP tapes, and they're by far my favorite band. Covers are just too difficult to do.

Azmarkus, it's interesting you say that. Did you read this somewhere? I just think it's funny. Having been a long time fan and have seen ELP, ELPowell and 3 in concert, 3 was by far the weakest of the "3" I saw...heh. Yikes this cover is lame. I'm no fan of the "tribute" albums.

Glenn Hughes really stinks, and is destroying this great ELP song!

By the way...why did these guys change some of the lyrics?

I couldn't agree more, azmarkus.

Berry can't stand Lake (and probably vice versa) that's why this 'tribute' focused more on the Emerson and Palmer aspect (no Lake ballads that were band's most popular offerings) and purposely went against the grain of Lake's producing aspects. Tossing all the guitars in is so pointless and the operatic metal vocals are hideous. Absolutely grotesque.
