Nice, next to nobody talking about the music. Everyone knows the music had nothing to do with the incident. Drop it please and thank you.

Turds on doorsteps are a good way to go.

Try putting yourself in their shoes, then get back to me.

As a guy who was bullied myself, I can sympathize with Eric and Dylan, even if what they did was a bit extreme. I will admit, what they did was obviously wrong and disproportionate, but you also have to take into consideration that they were still teenagers, and weren't exactly the most emotionally mature people on the planet. Emotional immaturity, bad cases of being bullied, and, exclusively in Eric's case, Mental illness; those are the reasons why they snapped.

You are right. Now that I've put more thought into this whole thing, Eric and Dylan were pushed, but they still could have been reasonable about their "revenge".

They never do.

This is a weak argument. The "moral high ground" is good for a feeling of superiority (an ego trip which, in my opinion, is worse than the alternative), but in the end it is impractical and useless. You might be the "bigger man" (whatever the fuck that means) but in the end you're still at the bottom of the social food chain, and you've done nothing except delude yourself that you are "better". Standing up to people is the right thing to do, but Eric and Dylan did take it a tad too far.

While I agree, I also think they were responsible for their actions, and the responsibility to refrain from doing what they did lay on them, and not everyone else.

Really? Columbine? This album came out what, 6 years after the incident? People who are still connecting KMFDM and Columbine are fallacious fools.

Can we stop talking about the Columbine Massacre here? I prefer to keep things like this separate from tragic incidents people associate it with.

And take into consideration that the teachers did next to nothing when it came to bullying cases. The fecal cup insident aside- another incident I read about, the jocks would lube up a hallway with baby oil and go "Bowling with students". The teachers looked at that and were like "Boys will be boys." Until one of the students broke their arm. Still, the jocks got slaps on the wrists. So I think it was a combination of the bullying and the teacher's doing nothing that caused their lack of trust.

Well, you also have to take into consideration that Eric and Dylan weren't in the right mind-set at the time, or that they probably didn't know they could get help. Also, it all depends on the severity of the bullying. Eric and Dylan were most likely severely bullied, and therefore, probably started to distrust other people, preventing them from getting the help they needed.
