note: to those who are telling me to "get a grip"... very mature. My personal opinion is NOT that the video is "gay" but that it SHOULD have had a solid "gay" element to be more effective and stronger. @Themiszerak. that would be an interesting take. but then why don't just show the drugs. the concept of addiction is an interesting one yet the band makes it very clear that it is more a throwback to "the old days" - a more existentialistic portrait and elegy to youth

This video is about the nostalgia of remembering the ol'good times gone, which are symbolized by a guy who desperately wants to keep them alive by buying a cassette and playing it, when everything around him is nothing but the coldness of a modern and empty life. Klimt 1918 are ALL about nostalgia and melancholy. This is why I love them so much. I despise banal and gay interpretations, so please stay off with your stupid comments about sexuality and tolerance.
