Real stereo sound.

In November 2007, Lisa Gerrard travelled to the Lüneburg Heath, where Klaus Schulze has resided for more than 30 years. It is also home to his private recording studio. For this joint effort six days were scheduled, but "on the first day, we just went out for dinner and didn't play any music at all", recalls Schulze. "I had already prepared the compositions and on the second day we actually recorded about five hours of music straight without a break. This session became Farscape I -- I have never experienced such an exciting thing in my entire career as an artist. The next day was just as intense and this session became Farscape II, another majestic, gripping experience with an exceptional artist", Schulze enthuses.

A great moment of cooperation between true artists was the result!

"Farscape" album is going to be released in June 2008.

Too flat and easy....lack the transcendence we could expect from both of them..

Sounds kind of cheesy, uninspired, barely interesting, meandering, and thrown-together without much of what we're used to hearing from her. She is much better then this series of recordings. "majestic, gripping"?

I used to listen to a couple of Klaus Sculze's records in the late 70s, and when i learned on Lisa's new website that she recently collaborated with him...i just rushed to listen to their common work. So this is it...quite disappointing. Klaus's Music on this play is dull and i must admit that Lisa's part is just usual etheral melopees. How do you spell "dispendable" in idioglossia ?

@1welshdevil Rather Jean Michel Jarre is a bit Klaus Schulze-ish...

@inexplicata I agree with you. Though, I'm not really sure why. I have enjoyed Lisa's singing on her own. And I enjoy KS's music more on his own. I find I really don't come back to this video very much.

This is really nice, I'm familiar with German electronic pioneer Klaus Schulze since the 70s and just waking up to Lisa Gerard's beautiful voice. Apparently, these days Klaus Schulze makes up his compositions spontanously while playing live. Myself, as his fans are glad he is coming back to music after he suffered a stroke.

runupahill-you are an ignoramus. you are, of course, entitled to your opinion, but the two of them together created such exquisite magic, and M. Perry as acquitted himself very well with "Eye of the Hunter" and his latest works. But really, for all the dynamism of Lisa's exquisite voice, the MESMERISING lyric and vocal of M. Perry on such works as "xavier," and "in the kingdom of the blind, the one eyed is king," for you to make such a claim is painful and disgusting-good luck with that.

I'm so glad Lisa Gerrard unloaded the other half of Dead Can Dance. Lisa's voice always danced; the other was just dead.

It's like a dream that these two connected, they are pioneers in music and talent like theirs is recognized by too few people. bliss listening to them...

Klaus Schulze is a pioneer of german electronic "krautrock". His music sounded like Tangerine Dream or early Kraftwerk / Neu! respective the francaise musician Jean Michel Jarre.

The more I listen the more I like, yeah it's not up to date shall we say, her vocals seem to compensate anything, album is a little hard work, this being the best of it, I like it (but don;t know why)
