in italia mi pare sia poco conosciuto, e dire che collaboro' anche con David Bowie, NON HA AVUTO TROPPO TEMPO PER DIMOSTRARE LA SUA ARTE MA QUEL POCO E' PIU' CHE SUFFICENTE

Wow this is one I'd not seen before. I wish more people would make such a unique and amazing entry when they're the featured guests on talk shows today!

Wow. I think what's making especially this song in this version so exceptional: You got a baroque song, from the past, with a being that looks like from the future, singing with a voice that's again from a completely different world. Whenever I'm done listening to it, it's like waking up from a wonderful dream.

Yes, I almost feel deprived for not having heard him all that time and such a shame he could not have recorded so much more.

I forgot to say that his voice is just outer worldly in the way he can hit so many notes in such a wide range. I kinda wonder WHY Bowie didn't sign Klaus up to go on tour with him as Klaus fit Bowie's amazing type of future/apocalyptic world stage themes that Bowie was into at that time.

You know its amazing what he did in such a short time, and how, even though, he died a long time ago he is still with us here on YT. Also, from what I have noticed after discovering him for myself a few year ago on the Bowie SNL vid, is that people who are finding him for the first time are like me, simply amazed that they have never heard of him.

He would be dead just 2 years after this performance. Such a sad loss, indeed. RIP, Klaus.

Oh Klaus. I love this performance...what a beautiful soul he was. Consummate performer. We lost a brilliant man way too soon. This performance is absolutely chilling.

There's a Thing in There

Such tragic circumstances around his death. His friends all but abandoned him, fearing infection of a disease that was barely understood.

This has got to be his best performance of this song. Thank God for these French videos-the quality is so beautiful. Where would this world be without gayness? Makes you realize what AIDS took away.

@AristYdes It was the eighties! I agree. The music and voice are so beautiful and yet I think Nomi was trying to get at the absurd in life.
