I believe it was not a mistake. If you listen to it again, you will notice that he chose that way to make the transition from Kiss the Rain to White Shadow. He used a good chord in that transition. But if it was a mistake, he is just a human after all, and human makes mistakes. (But he didn't make any mistakes there, lol)

What mistake... it's a beautifully realized transition between the 2 songs. It only sounds 'wrong' at first 'cause it's in a different key.

I personally think a mistake is something that sounds weird no matter how many times you listen to it. It's just wrong being there. Maybe I would say the transition from one song to the other this time is not the best choice out there. But overall, I don't find it weird after listening to it twice. It's a beautiful LIVE performance!!! One thing that disappoints me is the Kawai ... WHY ISN'T IT STEINWAY???  T-T
