As great as Ace & Peter were at the time, Gene and Paul could not rely on them. (even they don't fully appreciate just bad they were-Ace cant even remember some of the years-He &Pete were so out of it it would have been so frustrating trying to keep the band moving forward with them falling apart - they couldn't even show up fit at studios for recordings) Although very talented and part of the originals. I give credit to all the TALENTED guitarists and drummers that kept the KISS dream Alive. As Ace & Pete. were train wrecks that couldn't. Gene & Paul get targeted as control freaks but really, all they wanted to do is save the band,as after 5 -6 years Ace and Pete had cooked their brains. Well done to KiSS for entertaining us for 40 years - thanks G & P. .... PS i don't mean to put down the 2 as they were an awesome 4 some when it was great in the 70s.
