Carnival of Souls: The Final Sessions is Kiss' last album produced before the reunion of the original Kiss members. Recorded and slated for release in 1995/early 1996, Kiss cancelled its release when they embarked on the reunion tour. However, fans began to greatly bootleg the album, causing Kiss to finally release it in 1997.

Each and every day

People turn away

Change the things they feel

Change the things they say

We can never know

Where our lives will lead

Wherever you go

Whenever you need

I will be there

Wanna be there

I will hear you when you call

Give you anything at all

I will be there

Anywhere

Like a father to his son

You are just a child

All is yet to be

Growing all the while

Knowing when you leave

I will be there

Wanna be there

Only blood will run so deep

Seal the promise I will keep

I will be there

Anywhere

Like a father to his son

I can swear to only one

Time moves quickly as the years go by

All these moments slip away

When I'm gone and life will carry on

You will know someway

I will be there

I will be there

I will be there

Wanna be there

Only blood will run so deep

Seal the promise I will keep

I will be there

Like a father to his son

I must swear to only one

tI agree Paul is never given enough credit for his singing and songwriting skills.this was an underated Kiss album you think Kiss doing Grunge would be a bad idea but this was a great heavy album Jungle Childhood's End Rain and this song were great better than anything Kiss has done since after Psycho Circus they should have called it a day !

Hahaha, agreed! I enjoy this album, though, as much as it did follow the trends, as I'm a fan of this grungy sound.

paul and gene always put down grundge and called them lumberjacks (do to the flannels alot of bands wore ) by 1992 ..out of ideas they followed musical trends instead of being at the forefront ...huge misstep like the "elder" in 1981 ..the reunion saved them financially ...now they ride that wave doing oldies since 1996 ...they put out a new recrd now and then but no one cares ...ala " this ones off the new album" aka "bathroom break"...they ruled back in the day like no other ,,,

I love their harder stuff, but their ballads are so underrated. Bruce is a great drummer.
