Ace wrote this song, and these are the original lyrics. Lou Reed ended up writing the final lyrics, which turned it into "Dark Light". He was a good friend of Bob Ezrin's, and worked on a lot of the lyrics for The Elder. The only people who don't like this album are people who have a really closed mind, and need everything to be "hard rock" and normal all the time. This song is super interesting, and really far out rhythmically and structurally. Not your run-of-the mill rock song.

I don't see why this album was controversial... It's awesome, how can anyone dislike it? This was my "writing music" CD... <3 I didn't know this demo existed though... I knew about Nowhere to Run but not this one...
