I think they're great entertainers as opposed to musicians. lighten up people! It's like a circus with guitars. Kids love them, as I did when I was a kid. And probably, because of KISS, a lot of really talented people took up music.

kiss, my friends, is one of the few decent bands from the 70s/80s that are still touring. van halen sounds terrible, ac/dc is ok, but brians voice is shreaded, and guns n roses fell apart cause of drugs. kiss still sounds pretty good, they look pretty good, and while they may not have as much energy as they once had (cause they aint spring chickens anymore) their instrument playing isnt too shabby.
