Demos will play at a faster pace, the sound is more raw and unrestrained. Most suffered production R. Wise and K. Kerner song Strutter. Ace solo is great and I do not understand why all the gentlemen and to shorten and reduce Kiss pace. Finally, just like the first two albums, it was what I was most attracted to kiss. Since then, Dressed To Kill It began to be only one side and an instrumental track slowly disappearing. Of all wanted to have a hit, Gene began to enforce his idea of simple chants and recording two albums in one year, which paid great artistic prize. Too bad I think a song like Black Diamond did not even Led Zeppelin.

Peter had an amazing voice...sadly underutilized in the band. I'd say he and Paul were the strongest vocalists.

It's a great song.Sung by a great singer. The one thing I really like on the album version is the slow crash melt at the end.Very effective.

out on the streets for a livin, this(bitch)day has only begun(unemployed)afternoon solar eclipse(black diamond ring)the sun consumed with madness,(black sabbath, hole in the sky/rolling stones, under my thumb)when kiss plays live, they use their guitars to dig a grave-burried track at the end of studio version(slowed down again and again has nieghborhood kids jammin on their drums and guitars, lol)

I like this version better except for the guitar solos. They seemed a little clumsy and did no fit the song very well. The solos that ended up on the album cut are much better and fit the mood of the song better.
