I always wondered about that. If they would've put the makeup back on with others besides Ace and Pete, I still think it would've done really well. People were clamoring for old school KISS back then. The HITS tour did so well, in spite of the album not being very well liked, was that they started playing a lot of classics again. I mean. its been a dozen years since the original band, and they're still doing great business10 years ago

Not really, while KISS were low in the US during this time, they were playing big shows elsewhere in the world. Much like Maiden during that time(bars/clubs in the US, arenas & stadiums everyhwre else) and they came back, so would have KISS.AS&P couldn't fill bars together during that time,anyhwere in the world.The Reunion was great, but the band were not about to die, of course the Reunion made them bigger again and at least G&P aren't bankrupt like the other 2.10 years ago

Maybe, but Ace and Pete were just as much a life line to G&P in '96 as G&P were to them. Face it, before the reunion, Kiss were at their lowest point popularity wise and there was nowhere else to turn, other than to do a reunion. If the reunion had not happened, they would be touring state fairs and small theaters right now with REO Speedwagon and Styx.11 years ago

Excellent Album - sick of the negative comments about the new members - Kiss have been going for 39 years - Peter left after 6 years - Ace 9 years. The old members preferred numbing themselves with chemicals / drink - nearly killing themselves - and others - by - drink driving etc. Oh - they also lost most of their fortune - until a life line was handed to them by Gene and Paul in 194 - it is simple - if you do not like it - switch off .....11 years ago
