It was nice to get some variety in the vocals on these albums, rather than all Paul and Gene.

Classic Criscoula badass vocals... Peter sings the living hell out of this one. I love how at the end, as it fades he goes : "push that pedal to the floor...all the way down!...gun it woman!...Gun it! Peter and Paul were the strongest vocalists in the band. Their voices could have driven many a band and were commercialy viable for mainstream success. Gene and Ace were more about character. Seriously doubt Gene's demon/Vegas voice could have worked outside Kiss...Oddly enough, I like him better on ballads like Mr. Make Believe, World Without Heroes and songs like See You Tonight, Only You etc...And then Ace..well Ace is Ace.Love his voice, not a perfect one, but tons of character and a perfect fit for his songs.

Months since I've heard this and it's still one of very few songs if not the only song from KISS that can give me goosebumps. Criss is a very, VERY underrated singer. That voice is perfect for this song.

Lets not forget Hard Luck Woman,Strange ways(my personal fav) Getaway,Dirty Livin, Plus Ace getting him to play on Trouble walkin(2 Young 2 Die). But Strange Ways is by far my Favorite Peter Criss sung tune. I like That Ace and him were so close,and he wrote that song for Peter to sing. He knows Peter has the voice to pull off songs the he writes.
