I think they don't play this anymore because either mom or dad asked them not to. If you've ever lived in the same religious circles in which they were raised you can understand why they acquiesed to that request (if I'm right). You can understand, too, why the song was written. Such a great song. The best by far from Kings of Leon. IMHO
