If a band changes their sound, it doesn't always mean they "sold out." They started this band ages and ages and ages ago; music styles mature. Heck, I used to listen to screamo and death metal, but now I'm in love with all of Kings of Leon's music. My taste matured, maybe theirs changed as well. I doubt they're making music just to make money. I bet they love what they're producing now just as much they loved it back in the days.
