Godsake anyone who states they have become 'commercial' or 'mainstream' needs to understand they were always aware of their aesthetic, they were always pretty well known, they were always well produced and they were always going to inevitably change their direction at some point. The first few years were great but Sex On Fire was rejuvenating when I first heard it in an indie club and even though everyone sings it on karaoke now and their music is even more produced it doesn't mean they should be devalued.
