Not a bad cover, but NOBODY can improve on the Dan's original version of anything.

Very good cover version. Joe Jackson is more than some forgotten face of the 1980s.

In terms of musical quality, I've always thought Steely Dan was to the '70s what The Beatles were to the '60s. Good to know that Joe was as obsessed as I was with their 1973 album "Countdown To Ecstasy." Hope he got to see their 1974 Pretzel Logic Tour when it reached London.

Very nice. Joe has a very Fagen-esque quality to his vocals, so this is a perfect fit.

Just listening to that CD today. I think her version of Show Business Kids probably makes Steely Dan proud.

If you are not a fan of Joe Jackson OR Steely Dan, while are you listening to this? You could make better use of your time by watching Toddliers and Tiaras.

I had a party a few years ago with my mom and some of her friends and that song played on a CD. I was sure glad that most of them were wearing hearing aids and talking loud.

Good job, Joe. Fagen and Becker must be happy with you.

The Queen of Coolsville Rickie Lee Jones turned in a tasty cover of Show Biz Kids herself and even included the F'Bomb. LOL! How can Ya not love a band that took it's name from a Japaneese dildo? The Steely Dan!

@gg01142200 And probably Steely Dan's 1974 release 'Pretzel Logic' was also an influence on him, since he's played 'Any Major Dude Will Tell You' in concerts as well.

@MrAttPatt wow a little hostile aren't we? it's just a cover and I don't think Joe Jackson gives a damn what anyone thinks of his singing talents now or ever....
