"Epitaph"

The wall on which the prophets wrote

Is cracking at the seams.

Upon the instruments of death

The sunlight brightly gleams.

When every man is torn apart

With nightmares and with dreams,

Will no one lay the laurel wreath

When silence drowns the screams.

Confusion will be my epitaph.

As I crawl a cracked and broken path

If we make it we can all sit back and laugh.

But I fear tomorrow I'll be crying,

Yes I fear tomorrow I'll be crying.

Yes I fear tomorrow I'll be crying

Between the iron gates of fate

The seeds of time were sown

And watered by the deeds of those

Who know and who are known.

Knowledge is a deadly friend

If no one sets the rules.

The fate of all mankind I see

Is in the hands of fools.

The wall on which the prophets wrote

Is cracking at the seams.

Upon the instruments of death

The sunlight brightly gleams.

When every man is torn apart

With nightmares and with dreams,

Will no one lay the laurel wreath

When silence drowns the screams.

Confusion will be my epitaph.

As I crawl a cracked and broken path

If we make it we can all sit back and laugh.

But I fear tomorrow I'll be crying,

Yes I fear tomorrow I'll be crying.

Yes I fear tomorrow I'll be crying

Crying..

Crying...

Yes I fear tomorrow I'll be crying

Yes I fear tomorrow I'll be crying

Yes I fear tomorrow I'll be crying

Crying...

Some music is more inspired than other music. All music is inspired to a certain degree, inspiration manifests as talent, intuition, and insight. Truly inspiration has nothing to do with the band, it comes from the collective unconscious, or universal mind, the mind of god if you will. Inspiration has to come from beyond the mind to be truly new and original. For the first time in mankind's history we can Know how life works, it will make all the difference. Google *Truth Contest* and check out the top entry. The fate of mankind depends on it.

This is not a version! - this is the original. Lake could sing the telephone book and it would sound glorious, his old good voice I mean.

From one who came of age with KC as my soundtrack and a voice crying in the wilderness, i find the message even more relevent as it is even more true now than the authors vision, however profound it was in the beginning. The Epitaph is being chisled on the tombstone for all humanity. We who have heard the proclamation are blessed, those who will not heed it will indeed have their hands on the hammer and chisle. Let us do what we can to guide the hand of man. The fate of all....
