I find that scene interesting too, and I think I know the reason. Kim is now one of the most seasoned veterans at singing in front of an audience. But here we are seeing a 27 year old clip of her first time doing it and we see the stage fright she went through. It's like watching a bit of history unfold. Kind of like seeing Mickey Mantle's first time at bat for the Yankees, or seeing Ronald Reagans very first political speech. Something along those lines.

I really do LOVE Kim. She looked so beautiful, especially while singing "Cambodia". I think she did great out there for it being her first tour. And she got better and better as the years passed. Good for you, Kim! Love ya!

Between 2:29 and 3:05 the poor girl is terrified. I admire Kim for the way she fought thru it and ran onto the stage with confidence. It's fortunate for me I wasn't there to see that. I'd've been unable to stop myself from running up to her and hugging her and whispering reassurances in her ear. Within seconds security would've sent me head first out the back door, probably minus some teeth. Luckily, I was safe and sound over here in the States at the time.
