An amazing song! I think this is better than the A side Love is holy-its more Kims' sound whereas Love is holy is more like a Belinda Carlisle track as it was written by Rick Nowels who wrote Belindas' hits- Kim is a good songwriter!

She was so beautiful during this period, don't get me wrong she is still great looking but she looked like Marylin Monroe, anyway this is a very good song and yes i agree it should have been on Love Is, wich is already a masterpiece.

@lunesoleilastre yeah, probably you're right, regardless cover picture, it is very romantic & some kind of reflection or maybe some thoughts of loneliness can be heard..... the song is what you hear from that, isn't it? :)

One of Kim's best songs!!! Can't understand why it was just released as a b-side!!! But, who knows Cherry Pop will release all Kim's albums PLUS all b-sides!!!

@boogey76 The song was recorded after her niece - Scarlett was born. Daughter of Kim's Brother Ricky Wilde. That is why they called it birthday song

@boogey76 Maybe she wrote it/recorded it on her birthday? Or maybe it just tries to capture the atmosphere of that day. Birthdays stop being so much fun when you get older!

I always thought Kim's b-sides sounded like Pat Benatar. Love it!
