I love this , love Kim , but the new pixies album is pretty good actually , don't know why everyone is shitting on it so badly . Prolly cause kim's not on it , I bet if you had told all the people who don't like the new Pixie's album that Kim was on it and just didn't do any back up vocals ,before they actually listened to it for the first time, those people would prolly say they liked the album .( almost like a placebo effect) Oh well , love Kim Deal , (the Breeders, THE AMPS!) she is one of the most unique and cool musicians there ever was. That said , I also love the Pixies and all of Frank's solo work, Frank Black and the Catholics , etc . I notice people tend to choose sides when the pixies have had inner turmoil, I'm too big a fan of both Kim and Frank's work to do that. Besides ,I only care about their body of work and not any of the soap opera bullshit which has absolutely nothing to do with their music .
