I thought that this was a good performance but i also think that singing of the chorus "a war dance" should have been delivered with much more energy.

Lame crowd. Did hand out tranquilizers when you walked through the gate?

you have to be on the next level to comprehend his music. its bad sound quality, i just saw them live last night and its a million times more ambient than this recording makes it out to be

Ya too bad, one of those gigs when the Joke were just doing it for the pay check, & god luv'em. What a listless, unappreciative crowd. Take the money boys! When I saw them at Montréal last month it was all about pure hate, as usual ... but with hell of a lot of real love. We are real fans in MTL. I'd take that 18th-century Montréal 500-seat room over that one. Reidski

this was mutant punk at its very best, saw them in leeds and fell in love,. the power of those "waaaabat" guitar licks cannot be under-estimated, on to theater of hate, late cure and a million othern drips of joy into my world. Jazz i love you. from a 51 yr old man wi 3 kids.

I remember tape recording this off The Beat back then. If I remember correctly, the Crash Test Dummies and Buzzcocks were the next acts up. Mazzy Star and Squeeze were also featured on this episode. I watched it 100 times, but not in the last 10 years or so.

sometimes depending on what song they're playing.... killing joke is only entertaining to expecting fans.
