They are a very innovative band. You would never realise that they have been around for over 30 years if you didn't know it. They live with the times.

My big curvy, black, girlfriend danced to this 2 nights ago, in my lounge, in her swimming costume. I'm still recovering. Love and peace.

@tanpiltanpil: It's more complex than that. I sincerely fear Jaz is pretty disoriented. I'm not precisely an early fan like you, but I think Jaz was more serene – say – around 1996. Listen to some pieces of "Democracy" and to "Idavoll", and you see what I mean. The new album seems to have a good sound, but I consider "Hosannas" their historical low in terms of lyrics: "Darwin's evolved chimpanzee" "That the virgin mary was impregnated by the ghost"… sic.

I don't know whether I'm getting old, followed KJ since 1980. Don't get me wrong, I like the new crop of killing Joke albums, it's just they seemed to have lost their majesty and are a bit obvious these days.

@The12ozBucket Would'nt describe this masterpiece any better! I love Big Paul playing and, of course, Geordie's tuning! Everest's falling!

yaakovreuven is a piece of crap for his negative comment of this song. Killing Joke always has and always will kick ass big time. Killing Joke are Rock Gods. F__k whoever disagrees with me.

@seekah1 i have the album now. it sounds better than it does here, no doubt, but i think it sounds too 'airy' in places. each to their own. it's a good record.

Heavy as Mt Everest and at times subtle as a ripple on the Pacific Ocean...
