Um, pan the camera...the singer is the most important event in any tune. However, fair rhythm playing. -Can not hear the lead take his chorus as well.

I would love to see a few more Colin James songs. I personally find his phrasing, and variety, far greater than the late great Mr Healy. I have seen/saw both several times. His later "Lime Light" album is one of my all time favorites and that from a 53 year old with a pretty extensive music library. If you have not given it a listen through I can promise you will not be disappointed. "I'm just a shadow in a shade of blue..." How is that for a sweet metaphor? Anyway, cheers from one of your hard core fans.

Yes, mine's a 1939, too. I got it from Mr. Music in Boston. I went to their website to admire the J. Geils Les Paul and ended up seeing the L-7. I always wanted a pre-war Gibson.

Hey P-man -- I've got a 1939 Gibson L-7 that looks exactly like your guitar. What year is it? I got mine at Mandolin Brothers on Staten Island in 1982 -- how did you acquire yours?

I should, but no.

Not in my info box. I got a VHS tape of it in 1988 right after it aired on Much Music.

Ohh, okay I did see that but I thought it wasn't the same version because it's 1989, is that a typo in the information box?

I'm not sure what you tried searching for, but try: colin james jeff healey. It'll be the first video that comes up.
