@therandomdot I don't even remember preps dressing like that in the 80's. Our preps dressed more like what you saw a few years ago with the popped collars. Sweaters seemed to also be in. More like what you would see from a John Cusack 80's prep. Kind of the country club look. The only time I ever saw these kind of clothes in the 80 was sitting in store windows or in the manufactured pop culture world of MTV. I guess the clubbers may have done it, but I was too young for that scene.

Note to kids watching this...I don't remember ANYONE dressing like that back in the 80's unless they were on TV. Me and my friends all wore jeans and t-shirts, just like kids today. All the funky bright colors and clothes and such, were purely a fad thing that preps did...just like they do today. Just wanted to FYI, that way folks don't think everyone looked like dorks back then. LOL! Oh, and this song was awesome back then. Always sad, though, b/c it meant the show was over.
