1989, Thanksgiving. Sunday evening in West Germany at the Army Community Center on Ferris Barracks. The ACC had a Thanksgiving dinner for the troops. I remember having dinner with four kings. PHILIP ARMSTER, BRUCE BILLINGS, BRUCE PORTER, AND VICTOR ROMAN. Every time I listen to this song, I think about that dinner. Where ever you four kings are at, I just want to say that i miss you all, and I wish we could get together and have another Thanksgiving dinner.

I think I heard of this song back in the 80's. I remember hearing this again 2010 with my hunny Crusing to Santa Monica beach from Van Nuys with the sun setting. My hunny remembered this song too when he was young too! Never will forget this song and the memory. Perfect song to a perfect moment

Got hip to this nice melodic tune back in like 95' ( Grabbed that CD like hawt cakes ) when I used to listen to the Sunday morning jazz at Savannah State back in the 90's, at that time it was the only time you can hear Smooth Jazz on the air waves between 11: a.m. - 2 p.m.They had a dj named Chubb and homie used to be cold hard jammin'Have ta give big ups to the brother where ever he is for re awakening my taste for smooth jazz because prior to that the only time I got to hear a lot of smooth jazz and see smooth jazz bands was when I was in Tampa in 84' so there was a big void until then and that void came again when he left until I came online... THANK GOD 4 DA NET!!! Local radio be killin' me....smdh

Kevin Toney has always been one of my favorite piano artists. He had the same melodic style when he was with the Blackbyrds. Tried to keep it in the background but it still shone through.
