Why do people think that Montgomery Gentry 'stole' this song. Fowler gets all the royalties for it, and I'm sure he was absolutely thrilled to have a duo like Montgomery Gentry put his song on the map. Fowler's version is better in my opinion, but Montgomery Gentry's rendition got Fowler more recognition than his own ever did.
