Tremendous, but where is the first part? I bought the V sampler and played this track to death

Fantastic. If John Lennon had been American, Kevin Coyne would have been England's John Lennon.

This was the first gig me and my friend Ted went to. Kevin Coyne, Nico, Streetwalkers, Gong. We blagged our way backstage and drunk part of the rider.

Wow! My dad is playing on drums! What a discovery this is for me as its hard to get much out of my dad about the 'glory years'. He's a modest guy so doesnt like to harp on about stuff in the past...or he was just too stoned to remember it! Pleased to say that dad (Terry Slade) is still going strong and playing at 62.

Yes! I was there too and can't believe this footage exists. Someone mentioned Gong's paper plates - they had an enormous stack of them and were flipping them into the audience like frisbees.

Totally peerless. It looks like EMI/Virgin are releasing the full concert mixed from multitrack...which will be nice. Audio only, but then that's what it's about ! Have loved reading the comments from those who were there. Sounds like a great day,and free !

This terrific recording exists officially in full on Virgin's double sampler called "V", released in 1975.

I knew him and saw his last concert in november 2004 in hamburg. And I said to him; better than ever ! I loved him and I´m really happy to find some videos here.

an odd aside-Kevin Coyne came to Stourbridge Art School 1971 as a visiting lecturer ( I was a student) and played us his choice of rock 'n' roll stuff-we were all a bit nonplussed because it was Frank Zappa, Beefheart etc. He was a nice guy but quite mad.

Mother me Marjory...one of my favourite Kev Tracks...but not here... with a silly British pubrock thing going on.

I think I was there. Rainy morning. Clouds floated away. Sun came out. Gong with Mr Hillage followed by Kevin. What a day.
