Kentucky Headhunters perform a cover version of Norman Greenbaum's "Spirit In The Sky" live at the Farm Aid concert in Irving, Texas on March 14, 1992. Farm Aid was started by Willie Nelson, Neil Young and John Mellencamp in 1985 to keep family farmers on the land and has worked since then to make sure everyone has access to good food from family farmers. Dave Matthews joined Farm Aid's board of directors in 2001.

My compliments to the Kentucky Headhunters rock on. I am a northerner. At age 18 I was in rock band in Chicago Illinois we wanted to play this song but did not. I do not know the reason but now at age 60 medical illustrator I regret not perfoming this song. I hope the Lord will forgive me. Happy to see you carried on where I left off.
