Well butter a biscuit and call ME a liar!I was listening to the other 4 "Hit Versions" of Just A Matter of Time. I said that all the other "covers" were just singing the song.I WAS WRONG!!Wow! You are right! If Kenny has released this, it would have had to be a hit!It is SOOOOO much better than the Sonny James version.When was this recorded?The only reason I can think it didn't get released was that a lot of Country music was more "Pop" with orchestral strings instead of STRANGS!I don't know who Kenny's label was, but maybe they didn't want to step on Sonny or Glen's version, depending on when Kenny did this.But THANK YOU for sharing!

Kenny Price should have been a much, much, bigger star than he became. He was a true song stylist....with a big, big, voice.........that could get so high,......and soooo low.

Sonny James' version of this song hit #1 on the Country & Western charts. It was the 180th #1 C&W song of the Rock Era. It also was #4 on the Canadian RPM Country Tracks charts. Would Sonny continue his momentum into the 1970's? Would Buck Owens continue to give him competition? We shall see.
